Pauline has over 20 years' experience in management, clinical work, staff development and consultancy. With qualifications in psychology, corporate investigation and executive coaching she can offer a wealth of expertise in human services. She is particularly skilled in delicate and conflictual situations; setting firm boundaries and bringing harmony to the workplace.
Her specific expertise in executive coaching is to shift people from stuck positions, assist in clarifying goals and aspirations, add people skills to those who are mainly technical, teach analytical frameworks and develop self-analytical skills. Outcomes include: sorting out fit between the coachee and the organisation, reduction of wasted energy spent on entrenched conflict, re-direction of energy into productive activities, moving from a reactive to a proactive position, enhanced capability to analyse one's own methods of operating giving greater choice, easier and more strategic people management to achieve better outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications
After gaining a BSc(Psychology) Hons 1982, Pauline travelled to England and took up a post caring for adults with a disability living in the community. She returned to Australia after 12 months and worked as a psychologist for the NSW Dept Health where she played a key role in developing a new community service and consulting with stakeholders. Pauline also developed keen clinical skills in the disability field. She moved onto child protection as a consultant psychologist, seeing hundreds of clients and assisting in making the best decisions for children and families.
A natural progression from this was to branch into staff development where Pauline wrote and implemented a variety of courses. After that she went into management positions of various kinds, and completed a Diploma in Adult Psychotherapy. Pauline became a manager of the after hours child protection service in which she was able to develop and offer crisis response skills. She used these in a variety of settings including critical incident debriefing and bushfire recovery.
In 1999 Pauline started her own therapy practice and soon expanded into Human Resources consulting. Her continuing training included workplace investigation; gaining Certificates in Corporate Investigation and Investigation Management. Assembling a team of colleagues, Pauline was able to offer an innovative service in addressing workplace bullying. In 2004 she trained in executive coaching and has been able to make a significant contribution to companies going through a change process. Recent projects include:
